Over at BloodyDisgusting.com they have a few pictures they took of AMC’s booth for the upcoming TV series Walking Dead, based on the zombie comic by Robert Kirkman. The booth seems to be a recreation of some sort of violent zombie apocalypse scenario. What I want to know is if this is representative of the level of violence the show is going to exhibit. In an article oddly timestamped April 30, 2009 as of my writing this, Yahoo! has revealed what it claims to be an exclusive look at some new posters for the upcoming Captain America and Thor films. The new posters are going to be distributed at Comic-Con this weekend, and attendees will have the chance for the actors to sign them. As of now not much has been seen of what Captain America is going to look like in his upcoming film. I recommend checking out their website for a look at both posters and clicking past the break where I scrimshawed some words of my own about the posters.
A new trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion has been released from New York Comic-Con 09, and this one acutally shows gameplay. It really doesn’t look like it’s making many strides from the original game graphically, and the only new character I noticed in the trailer was Hercules. I’m very interested to see how the Civil War story line is handled, because I imagine changes are going to have to be made to wrap up the story, since it technically never ended and is still going on. Oh well.
Also, I’ve probably said this before but why the hell is Storm featured so prominently in not only this trailer but for most things Marvel in general? Who the hell gives a shit about Storm?
Ed Norton, Hollywood’s favorite prickly, bitter, poster child refused to do a publicity tour when he did The Incredible Hulk this summer because of a disagreement with the studio. What’ll he do now that he has a feud with the writer of the screenplay?
Straight from Comic-Con, here’s the new redband trailer for the upcoming movie Quarantine. Sure, it’s a shot for shot remake of the Spanish movie REC but this movie has one HUGE difference… it’s in a language that I understand. So if you’re a fan of zombies, POV movies such as The Blaire Witch Project, Cloverfield, or Diary of the Dead (which I reviewed), outbreaks, blood, and all sorts of other great stuff check out this trailer over at IGN.
A new trailer for the upcoming movie Resident Evil: Degeneration was shown at Comic-Con and it looks pretty damn good.
