To call WWE Crush Hour strange is an understatement. It is easily one of the most bizarre video games to use the official WWE license. It’s a demolition derby game in which wrestlers drive weapon stocked vehicles around in an attempt to kill each other.
I just got back from a special showing of G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. I didn’t think I’d be seeing the film in theaters but a free opportunity arose and I took it. Overall I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I went into with a fairly pessimistic expectations but what I witnessed shattered those negative feelings.

Despite having played and disliked the original Destroy All Humans! I figured that the latest installment may have fixed any problems I had with it. Well I can safely say after completing the game in its entirety, achievements and all, that this game is just as bad, if not worse, than the others and I completely hate it.

While it would be inaccurate to call me a hardcore X-Files fan, I can say that I enjoy the series and watched it quite often during it’s original run. When I first heard that a new X-Files movie was on it’s way I was pleased because I always enjoy seeing popular series get another installment after a hiatus. The series has been away just long enough to generate a call for a return and I Want To Believe is a well-crafted and satisfying return for the series.

There is a unique novelty to the concept of a heist film. Having a group of people band together to knock off a bank is a great blueprint for escapist film fun. The Bank Job stands as a solid example of a good heist film. It has an exciting scheme, several shocking twists and turns, and a well-developed group of characters.
It’s very easy in Hollywood for hype to get out of control. Expectations can build to the point that it becomes impossible for a movie to live up to its hype. But The Dark Knight lives up. It lives up in a big way.
